Formicio’s multi-organisation research projects provide greater insights on important topics and critical issues.
Collaborate with peers
Collaborating with peers from other organisations on an issue of common interest is a powerful way to determine the course of action that best suits your organisation. Not only does it provide greater insight on the issue explored, it also helps you make the right choices and builds confidence.
“Never forget that your best thoughts come from others.”
With the pace of developments today it’s all too easy for us to get locked into the complexities of our immediate situation. Formicio’s Collaborative Explorations are an extremely effective way to broaden your perspective.
You choose the topic for exploration
Each Collaborative Exploration is unique as the topic explored is proposed by you. It could be a ‘game-changing’ technology, pending regulatory change or an emerging business model. If the issue feels uncomfortable, it’s potentially a good topic for a Collaborative Exploration. Contact us to propose a Collaborative Exploration topic.
How a Collaborative Exploration works
Once a topic is brought to Formicio we form a consortium of 8 to 12 organisations that are willing to share their insights and experiences. Formicio facilitates the collaborative process, stimulates thinking, challenges where appropriate and brings the results of the collaboration together as a shared point of view. Member participation is through workshops and webinars, with access to a collaboration platform where documents are shared and virtual conversations held.
Deliverable of a Collaborative Exploration
The key deliverable is a shared ‘point of view’ on the topic explored, which enables participants to make informed choices on a way forward that is best for their organisation.
